| Hurriyat sabotaged Mehbooba’s Pakistan visit : Mufti | | | Shafiq Mir

Blaming Hurriyat Conference of sabotaging PDP president Mehbooba’s proposed visit to Pakistan , People’s Democratic Party patron and former Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed said that Mehbooba Mufti will definitely travel to Pakistan and its controlled Kashmir in near future because no body can ignore PDP in shaping the future of the state .
This he said during in an exclusive interaction with this correspondent during his visit to border district Rajouri on Monday.
Mufti Mohammad Sayeed said that Hurriyat Conference has influenced on the Pakistan authorities and requested them not to give visa to PDP president because they were afraid that she could take the political mileage with this visit.
“I think this is only Hurriyat Conference which sabotaged Mehbooba’s visit to Pakistan. And this is time being development and no body can ignore PDP leadership in shaping the future of the state”, said Mufti Mohammad Sayeed adding that she will travel to Pakistan in near future.
Giving details of her proposed visit, Mufti said that beside attending the POGWASH Conference Mehbooba had schedule to address the people in Muzafrabad, Mirpur and Rawalakot in Pakistan administered Kashmir.
He also told that his party ( PDP) will also launch an awareness campaign regarding the ‘Self rule’ formula of his party in the areas of Pakistan administered Kashmir.
He said his party will also launch an awareness campaign regarding the self rule formula presented by his party in the areas across the Line of Control saying that the self rule formula has much acceptability and scope in the undeveloped areas of Pakistan administered Kashmir.
“This is fact that when we talk of self rule in Jammu Kashmir we talk about the pre 47 geographical Kashmir which also include the areas of Pakistan administered Kashmir.*****
But our main focus is this side of Kashmir though we will also launch an awareness campaign across the LoC because this formula has much acceptability and scope in the areas other side of LoC”, said PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Commenting on Delhi Hurriyat dialogue , Mufti sayed said that he was personally hopeful of the positive out come because Delhi seems serious this time and has avoided the traditional photo sessions of leaders .
It is pertinent to mention here that former chief minister and Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was here in border district for the past two days to explain the self rule formula of his party before the concerned civil society of the border region. First seminar in this connection was organised by his party in border district Rajouri on Sunday and a similar seminar will be organised at border district Poonch on January 17 next month said a party leader.
