| Khoda delivers lecture in BGSBU | | | Early Times report

Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda termed Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University a miracle acknowledging that the founder Vice Chancellor Masud A. Choudhary has proved his mettle by building educational institution of higher learning in such mountainous region.
Addressing students in the School of Management Studies of the BGSBU during his lecture titled “Developmental Leadership-a road map for success”, Khoda said that when he visited the University in 2005, he had thought that the efforts of establishing a University on these barren mountains will go waste but the founder Vice Chancellor who is also the son of the soil proved him wrong by building such remarkable institution. During his talk Khoda termed Masud Choudhary an example of “development leadership” and a role model for young people.
During his talk Khoda focused on various leadership qualities and advised students not to be afraid of failures and challenges. Khoda emphasized on the need for shunning ego, recognition of hard work through rewards, encouragement of juniors, building transparency as various important tools for every successful leader. Answering one of question from students Khoda expressed optimism that with the improving markets after the recent meltdown students have little reasons to fear for the careers.
While welcoming Khoda, Choudhary introduced the audience with his acumen and administrative contributions in improving the overall functioning of the State Police Department. The lecture was attended by students, faculty of the management school beside other senior officers of the University. The lecture was part of a series of invited talks by various eminent experts, bureaucrats administrators and heads of multinational companies for the students of School of Management.
