| Full Court reference to mourn death of Adv Sodhi | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 22- To mourn the death of Advocate Parbrahm Singh Sodhi, who died last evening, a Full Court reference was held under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Brain Ghosh of J&K High Court. During the Full Court reference, Chief Justice, while paying rich tribute to late PS Sodhi, said that his death is sure to cause an aching void in the hearts of the members of his family, his loss is irreparable for the legal fraternity and his memories linger on our minds. The Chief Justice, on behalf of the brother judges, expressed deep sympathies with the bereaved members and prayed for courage to bear this loss. BAJ was represented by its President senior Advocate Sunil Sethi, while the state was represented by Senior Additional Advocate General SC Gupta. Late PS Sodhi was one of the senior advocates of the High Court. He completed his LL.B in the year 1973 from Jammu University and was provisionally admitted and enrolled as pleader on March 4, 1974 and enrolled as a Vakil on February 15, 1978 and advocate on April 20, 1987. Besides Chief Justice, Justice Virender Singh, Justice JP Singh and Justice Muzaffar Hussain and the Presiding officers of the Subordinate Courts, large number of advocates also attended the Full Court reference.
