| BJP questions troop pullout from J&K | | | Agencies New Delhi, Dec 22 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Rajya Sabha questioned the pulling out of troops from Jammu and Kashmir, reports said Tuesday. The government must take the Parliament into confidence before taking such decisions, BJP said. Defence minister A K Antony on Friday said two army divisions have been pulled out of Jammu and Kashmir. "Around 30,000 troops have been pulled out of the state since the situation os improving," he added. Indian and Pakistani soldiers exchanged fire along the international border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir late on Monday, reports said. Around 10:40 pm on Monday, troops from the Pakistani side began firing at the Kandral border outpost of India along the international border, the third ceasefire violation by India's nuclear-armed neighbour in a week.
