| Situation not conducive for demilitarization: Kanchan | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 23- Commenting over reduction of troops from Jammu and Kashmir, Bhartiya Bahujan Party (BBP) today said that the situation is not conducive for demilitarization from J&K. Addressing media persons here today, Kanchan Sharma, chief coordinator, BBP said that Government has deliberately put the innocent people to undue risks for mere political interests as situation is not appropriate for troop withdrawal. Alleging that coalition government failed on all fronts, she said that even unemployed educated youth were befooled by the government by giving them baseless employment package. She said it is sheer mockery which could force youth to adopt rebellion approach. Expressing anguish over the attitude of the government, Sharma said that due to the construction of Baghliar dam about 30 Kms residential houses are under threat as danger is looming large upon them. She informed that party is going to launch membership drive from January 1st to strengthen the party at grass root level and impressed upon the party workers to identify righteous candidates to contest civic/panchayat polls to serve people with dedication. Sant Ram Bhagat State President, Sardhari Lal Bhagat National Vice President, Mahinder Singh General Secretary, Mohinder Singh Secretary General, Women Wing President District Jammu and Kiran Devi were also present at the press conference
