A joint meeting of JK Medical Employees Federation Original Working Committee and Advisory Council was held under the Chairmanship of S. Dharminder Singh President.
All the speakers hailed the constitution of 6ht Pay Commission and impressed upon the State Govt. to implement the recommendations of the commission as and implemented by Central Govt. All speakers hailed Director Health Services, Jammu for holding DPC but all were of the view that it should be strictly according to the seniority lists, and stressed to contest the Court case filed by self styled leaders against MEFO and expose their fake assertions in the Court so that they are punished under law, said MEFO in a press release. It was also emphasized that block wise committees of MEFO should be held under the membership drive be intensified to strengthen MEFO.
The meeting resolved that deputation of MEFO shall again meet Director Heath Services, for resolving the problems such as enhancement of FTA to all touring/ supervisory category of Heath Department @ Rs. 500/- per month Medical allowance @ Rs. 500 /- per to all employees, making permanent all ad-hoc employees, removal of anomalies of Pharmacists, Drives MPW grade to FMPHW etc. the release said.
Speaker cautioned the employees to be aware of the evil designs of some people who have given a call of Dharma, for matters which are not pertaining to Director Health Services. But they are just be fooling the innocent employees.
All the present expressed their satisfaction over the functioning MEFO and assured them their fullest cooperation they called upon all categories of employees of Heath Deptt. To strengthen MEFO and stay united to fight against injustice exploitation and for redressal of their genuine problems, the release said.
