| Christmas, new year, Gurupurav, DPS organizes colourful function | | |

Jammu, Dec 24: On the eve of Christmas, New Year and Gurupurav a colourful function was organized at Delhi Public School (DPS) by its students which attended by large number of people.
Students on the occasion presented various items including Christmas carols, dance and skit depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. Children of pre-primary wing presented the dance on the tune of Jingle Bell which was highly appreciated by the audience.
The special assembly of Christmas, New Year and Gurupurav was organized by Tawi House under the guidance of Ms. Kavita Padha.
Principal Sudarshan Sonar spoke high of the students and their caliber and enlgithtened the audience on Christmas celebration, for the introspection of oneself in the outgoing year 2009 and for all good resolutions for the coming New Year 2010 and also about Gurupurav. |
