In order to carry out the work of erection of 220 KV circuit breaker in Sarna and carrying out the urgent maintenance works at 220 KV yards of 220/132/66 KV Grid Station, Hiranagar, the power supply to entire areas of Kathua district, Mahanpur, Hiranagar, Samba and the areas being fed from Bari-Brahamana-II including industrial areas shall remain affected on December 27 from 1000 hours to 1600 hours.
The PHE, MES installations and other essential loads shall also remain affected during the said shutdown period.
According to Chief Engineer, Electric Maintenance & RE Wing, Jammu, the shut down is subject to fair weather conditions.
