| Security ring of Azad breached thrice at JDA Park | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 25- On Thursday when Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad was inaugurating JDA park in Trikuta Nagar area two unidentified persons managed to breach the tight security ring and made an attempt to hand over bunch of papers to him.
Though alert security personnel dragged these persons swiftly from the scene, but senior officers responsible for the security of the VVIP have taken a serious note of the alleged breach.
In the first case a man dressed in red sweater holding a bunch of papers came so close within the handshaking distance and made an attempt to handover his application to Azad while he was inspecting the park in presence of JDA officials and other senior congress leaders.
Annoyed Azad reacted sharply and directed his security personnel to keep these application business at safe distance.
After some time a group of civilians once again approached the dais and in a bid to attract attention of Azad started waving at him. When security personnel deployed near the podium objected to their advances they changed course of their track and waited in one corner till the function was over.
Third time the security breach took place when Azad was interacting with media persons a middle aged man kept shouting at him standing shoulder to shoulder with a group of media persons. When few media persons objected to his presence in the close ring he too was whisked away by the security personnel.
Security experts said those responsible for security arrangements have to explain how these men gained assess inside the park and managed to breach the security ring despite tight security arrangements at the venue and frisking of individuals.
