| JKPP reorganizes district bodies | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 25: In the executive body meeting of Jammu and Kashmir state Panchayat Parishad (JKPP) held under the chairmanship of Jugal Kishore Gupta its president Nisar Ahmed Khan (Ex-Agriculture minister) and Abdul Gnai Nasim- (Ex M.L.A of Khan Sahib) both patrons of JKPP were special invitees in the meeting.
In the light of proposed Panchayat Election soon in the state, the meeting reviewed the functioning of JKPP district units in which some units were decided to be re organized for better performance.
Ibrahim Khan of Mandhar, Dr. Sujeevan Singh Dhadwal of Kathua, Girdhari Lal Atri of Dansal Block (Jammu) and Peer Abdul Majid Shah were appointed as District Presidents of JKPP for Poonch, Kathua, Jammu and Ramban district respectively. Ch. Mohd. Aslam of Pargaltra, Noor Mohd. Afzal of Billawar and Onkar Singh of Ramsoo have been appointed as district vice presidents of JKPP for Jammu, Kathua and Ramban districts respectively. While Mohd Aslam Malik of Batote has been appointed as organisor of JKPP for Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar Districts. Sajad Ahmed Dar of Pulwama, Nazir Ahmed Mir of Baramulla, Mohd. Aslam Khan of Anantnagar Begum Jahan Ara of Brain Nishat, Shakeela Begum of Kupwara have been nominated as members from Kashmir province in the state executive body of JKPP.
