| ITCO organizes capacity building programme on use of consultancy | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 25: The J&K ITCO organized programme on capacity building on use of consultancy services by client organizations in association with consultancy development centre (CDC) DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India at JKEDI, Udyog Bhawan here today. The chief guest of the programme was Dr. M.I Parray, Director JKEDI, Jammu. The others were officers of various Government Departments v.i.z Industries and Commerce Deptt., JKEDI, J&K TDC, Handloom Development Corporation, Directorate of Handloom Development SC/ST/BC Development Corporation and representatives from Industries & Commerce J&K and other guests. Chief consultant, ITCO S.P. Sud in his welcome address spoke about the background of J&K ITCO and aim & objective of the programme. He also spoke on usefulness of ITCO association with CDC in capacity building on use of consultancy services in government departments, PSU and client organizations. Dr. M.I Parray, Director, JKEDI stressed on the importance of consultancy services and activities of JKEDI in development of entrepreneurs including various government schemes to solve the problems of unemployment. He also spoke on the scope of Floriculture and introduction of modern technologies like Green House for development of floriculture and agriculture sector in J&K. Binoy Kumar, Consultant, J&K ITCO took the technical session on different aspects of selection of consultants viz Shortlisting of Consultants, Proposal Invitation, Proposal Evaluation and Consultant Client agreement.
