| Puppet show organized | | | JAMMU OCT-07- A Puppet show, road show competition and a symposium formed the part of the wildlife week celebrations today. The Wild Life Department in collaboration with Wildlife Institute of India (WLII) Dehradun organized a Puppet Show at Nature Interpretation Centre Manda Hills here today. Over 300 students and teachers from different schools witnessed the show. Pramod Kumar and Reenu Shrivastava presented the show under the supervision of Dr Bitapi Sinha Expert in interpretation at WLII Dehradun .The basic purpose of organizing the show was to visualize the children about conservation of wildlife and its necessity for the survival of mankind. The school children were excited with this rare type of activity introduced in the celebration of wildlife week for the first time.Students of Model Academy took part in the road show competition while a symposium on the topic of ‘Importance of wildlife conservation for future generation’ was organized at Government College Kishtwar.
