| Community Centre inaugurated | | |
Rajouri Oct-07 Community Development Centre and a Dispensary block at model village Palma, renovated under Operation Sadbhavna were inaugurated, by Neelam Soneja wife of Maj Gen AC Soneja, GOC Romeo Force, amidst the presence of prominent citizens of the area thus fulfilling the long cherished demand of locals.
Mrs Soneja in her address highlighted the cause of the Army in undertaking such projects in the terrorist hit remote areas of J&K and appreciated the people for their positive contribution in the changing insurgency environment She called upon them to come forward to join hands with SF for bright future.
A Medical camp was also organized at the venue under the aegis of Romeo Force.
During interaction, the civilians from all walks of life lauded the sincere efforts of Army in ensuring peace and tranquility in the region and also facilitating development in the area by various Sadbhavna project.
She also visited Palma School and Women Empowerment Centre and distributed sweets and presented sports items and musical instruments to the school children. She appreciated the efforts being made by the school authorities to uplift the education standard of the students.
