JWAM endorse ‘Jammu Bandh call’ on Dec 28

Jammu, Dec 26: Rejecting outrightly the recommendation of working group on centre-state relations, Sunil Dimple, president Jammu west assembly movement (JWAM) said, centre government’s once again shows its negative attitude with the people of Jammu and Ladakh region. Addressing the protestors of the movement here today he said it is surrender by the congress party before Kashmiri leaders for its political interests and to be in power. He said for the last 60 years Jammu people have suffered a lot in every field. He suffered that this report if implemented with further weakens the centre-state relation beside occasion of J&K with India.

He said as a protest JWAM fully supports Jammu Bandh call against the report which is totally against Jammu people. He on the occasion cautioned the chief minister Omar Abdullah be cautions before implementing the recommendation, which are totally against in interest of the general masses. He appealed the state MPs, MLA and MLC apprise the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and central leaders against the recommendations of the said report.

Appealed the people of Jammu region, all political parties, bar association, chamber of commerce, traders, transporters, schools, colleges, universities to observe complete Jammu bandh on 28th December.

The prominent protestants are Ashok Khanna, Vinit Kumar, Vicky, Babu Singh, Rakesh Sharma, Ramesh Chander Kohli, Dr. Sham Saroop Gupta, Mohan Lal Sharma, Dr. OP Jandyal, Sanjay Gupta, Manjit Kumar, Kuku Khajuria, Kulbir Singh, Devinder Kumar and Balbir Gupta.

Meanwhile, Sri Ram Sena has also extended its full support to Jammu bandh on December 28. Sena president Ravi Mahajan along with others members has shown great resentment against anti people report.
