| Cantonment corporators inspect on going dev. works | | |

Jammu, Dec 26: Corporator Rajesh Bakshi, along with Bharat Bhushan and Hardev Singh corporators Jammu cantonment board tour, various places of their wards like Jawahar Nagar, Ranibag and Colonel’s colony and examined the progress of on-going development works sanctioned by the board for construction of lanes/ drains, roads. At Jawahar Nagar Bakshi started the slab work of a bridge which is being constructed on Landio Choie Nullah. With the construction of this bridge a long pending demand of the people has been fulfilled.
The corporators on the occasion exhorted the executing authority and the contractors to ensure that all the works are completed in time and quality of work is ensured. Bakshi also interacted with the local people of the area and requested them to see that no encroachment on the foot –paths and lanes takes place in the best interest of the people.
He also drew attention of the concerned towards the bad state of sanitation in the area and asked the concerned official for better sanitary conditions in the area. |
