Jammu, Dec 26: The Building operation controlling authority under the chairmanship of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and examined 120 cases out of which 90 building permission cases were cleared in the meeting held today. The representatives of PDD, PHE, Town Planning besides, the joint commissioner and senior Town Planner of Jammu Municipal Corporation attended the meeting. The building permissions cases cleared will generate revenue of Rs. 12.50 lacs for the corporation.
Continuing the drive against the adulteration of milk, the municipal veterinary office alongwith filed staff visited the areas of Maheshpura, BSF Paloura, Muthi camp, Paloura, Subash Nagar, New Plot and checked 107 no’s of milk canes in these areas, out of which 15 no’s of milk canes were lifted and sent to laboratory. A fine of Rs. 2900.00 was also realized from the erring milk vendors on spot. Also the team visited the areas of Jewel, Ware house, Channi Himmat, Gandhi Nagar, Satwari, Panama Chowk, Railway road, Narwal, Qasim Nagar, Transport Nagar, etc and lifted 07 nos of stray animals. The stray animals were impounded to municipal cattle pound and a fine of Rs. 650.00 was realized from the owners of stray animals.
