A meeting of J&K RET Teachers Forum of district Samba was held at Vijaypur Block under the chairmanship of Jammu district president of the Forum, S S Manhas.
In the meeting, teachers of different zones from Samba district participated, where Bhupinder Singh acted as election commissioner and Rakesh Chib acted as election observer.
In the meeting, representatives of different zones unanimously elected Raj Kumar Dubey as district president, Yash Paul as senior vice president, Anil as vice president, Sunil Kumar as general secretary, Subash Lal as cashier, Rakesh Kangotra as chief advisor, Ajit Singh as chief organizer, Mukesh Sharma as chief coordinator, Seema Kour as spokesman and Sukhbider Singh as publicity secretary.
In the meeting, the speakers urged upon the State Government that all the Education Volunteers (EVs) and ReT teachers should be regularized after the completion period of five years from their date of joining, seniority benefit be given to all the ReT teachers and monthly wages of the ReT teachers may also be enhanced upto Rs. 7,000 per month.
