| Punjab land grabbers active in Kathua | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Dec 27- Secretary Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Sardar Manohar Singh and general secretary Rattan Chand Kalotra have expressed their grave concern over the illegal occupation and plundering the resource of the Rabi Darya by the land grabbers of Punjab by establishing stone crusher with the help of Punjab government and its police. They squarely blamed the Punjab government for giving shelter to the land grabbers and called for their immediate eviction.
Addressing media persons here today the PCC leaders alleged that Punjab Government was deliberately interfering in the territory of the Jammu and Kathua to disturb the economy of the state by adopting various means like violation of the water agreement with J&K government. They further alleged that land mafia of Punjab was openly exploiting the resources of our state by making the locals as salient partner to plunder the wealth of the state.
Calling for a strict watch against these land grabbers, the PCC leaders appealed the government to firmly deal with the land mafia and take up the matter with the neighboring Punjab Government for putting a halt on such activities in our part of the state.
