2-day Bal Mela concludes

Jammu, Dec 27- The 2-day long Bal Mela, which was inaugurated by Natrang Director Balwant Thakur, concluded at Muthi here today. Thousands of children, teachers and parents took part in the mela which was organized by Satchal, an organization that has been promoting music, art, languages and literacy amongst the under privileged children for the last one decade. Satchal has the distinction of organizing thematic and thought provoking programs for the children for the last many years.
Balwant Thakur has announced five admissions in Natrang theatre and one instructor for training free of cost.
Bal Mela was conceived by the patron of Satchal Ravi Mahaldar to show case the talents of underprivileged children from diverse fields. Children from various schools of Jammu showcased their talent during the two day mela.
One of the most scintillating events of the Mela was the dance performances of the children.
