Jammu Dec 28: Two females including a housewife made abortive bid on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance.
The identity of the victims has been identified as Jyoti Devi daughter of Mohan Lal of Gurha Morh, Hira Nagar and Sushma Sharma, wife of Ram Sharma of Old Satwari.
Both were admitted in Government Medical College Hospital after their condition got deteriorated due to consumption of poisonous substance.
Police have registered cases at respective police stations and initiated inquest proceedings into the matters.
