| JSM thanks Jammuties for supporting bandh call | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 28- Jammu State Morcha (JSM) has thanked the people of Jammu region for their full support to the bandh call to protest against the Working Committee report on Centre-state relationship.
In a statement Prof. Virender Gupta and Capt. Anil Gour, President and Vice Persident of JSM (Progressive) while complimenting the Jammuties for out rightly rejecting the report reiterated their party’s demand for a separate Jammu state maintaining that this was the only way out to address the problems of the POK displaced persons, West Pakistan refugees, Gujjars and Pahari people.
Terming Justice Sagir’s report as communal, pro-secessionists and biased, the JSM leaders said that implementation of the report would endanger the unity and integrity of the country. Suggesting the Centre to out rightly reject the report, the JSM warned of dire consequences if it ever tried to implement the report.
