| Free medical camp for BPL families at SOS Children Village | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 28: A day long free medical camp was organized at SOS Children Village, Gole Gujral here for the Below Poverty Line (BPL) families of the adjoining areas under the Family Support Programme (FSP) of the SOS.
The camp was held in collaboration with NGOs Samaj Sewa Sanstha and Modern India Society. Over 300 patients were examined during the camp by a team of doctors, including Dr Usha Kiran (Gynaecologist), Dr Sanjeev Digra (Pediatrician) and Dr Nisha.
Free medicines were also distributed among the patients. The camp was held under the supervision of SOS Assistant Director Sanjeev Bhat and assisted by FSP incharges Mrs Geeta and Ashok.
It is pertinent to mention here that SOS supports the BPL families under FSP and provide them help in different ways.
