Jammu, Dec 29:
Police have arrested a bootlegger and recovered a consignment of country made illicit liquor from his possession.
Acting on specific information that, Kathua police laid a trap and arrested the bootlegger identified as Man Singh son of Chatter Singh of Kathua, said sources.
During frisking, the police party recovered 60 pouches of country made illicit liquor from his possession, sources added
A case under Excise Act was registered against the accused at police station Kathua.
