Sharma visits remote areas of district Rajouri

Jammu, Dec 29: Former legislator, Ashok Sharma has demanded delimitation of assembly and parliamentary constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir so that every region gets its due share of seats as per its population, area, terrain, topography so to ensure political justice to all the areas of the state.
Addressing public meetings at Methani, Moghla, Bindi and Potha in Rajouri district during his four day tour of those remote areas, Sharma charged that bungling worth crores of rupees has been done in development works in Kalakote constituency and demanded a high level enquiry and action against all those involved in pilferage of funds.
Sharma pleaded for creating of rural development block at Moghla, opening of ZEO office at Potha and up-grading high schools to the higher secondary levels setting up of sub-district hospitals at Methani and Bindi besides creation of Niabat at Methani.
Other demands projected by the former legislator include insurance of job cards, timely payment under NREGA, conducting afresh BPL survey, augmenting drinking water and power supply etc.
