| Lecturers hails Kahloo's appointment | | | Jammu,October 7, 2006.
All J&K Plus 2 Lecturer’s Forum expressed its gratitude to the Minister for Education Mr Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed and MOS Education S. Manjeet Singh for appointing Mr M.P Kahloo as Joint Secretary Board of School Education on the post vacated by Smt Asha Sharma, Joint Secretary, Incharge Examination. The Forum’s Central Executive which met at Jammu under the chairmanship of Mr H.D Qureshi its President highly appreciated the decision of government in appointing Mr Kahloo, a senior most officer from the field of school education and termed it the outcome of constant efforts of the Forum which finally succeeded in achieving the desired goal of inducting officers in the Board of School Education from the school background. Mr H.D Qureshi while speaking on the occasion congratulated the cadre for its victory and expressed its determination that all the top posts in the Board’s management presently occupied by the college teachers will be got replaced with the senior most officers from the field of school education. He further elaborated that the college teachers being non-concerned agency has vitiated the educational environment in the field of school education to the extent that the prestigious institution has come on the verge of collapse and the career of innocent students is at stake in the hands of people drown from higher education. Mr Qureshi strongly criticized the mismanagement in the ongoing examination of 12th class where the seniority for cadre in appointing the supervisory staff has been violated resulting a chaotic situation all around the entire examination. Besides this the Forum welcomed the decision of Central Government for appointing 6th pay commission headed by Justice B.N Krishna. In another meeting at Udhampur under the chairmanship of Mr Sunil Sharma District President where a large number of Principals, Lecturers were present expressed its thanks to the State Chief Minister Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad for appointing Mr M.P Kahloo as Joint Secretary and the speakers hoped that the rich experience of Mr Kahloo will certainly improve the academic environment in the board which is facing worst type of deterioration in the hands of collage teachers.
