| AIDS Awareness Prog organized at PTS Manigam | | |

The department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Government Medical College Srinagar in collaboration with J&K State AIDS Prevention and Control Society and Police Training School Manigam Ganderbal conducted one day AIDS awareness generation training programme at PTS Manigam today.
Four Sessions were conducted with 230-250 recruits in each batch a power point presentation were made showing HIV/AIDS scenario in the world, India and J&K State. Special emphasis was laid on modes of transmission and prevention of HIV/AIDS.
The team of medicos from SPM department included Dr S M Salim Khan, Dr Khursheed Ahmad Qureshi, Dr Javid Ahmad Bhat, Dr Abrar Bashir and Dr Shabir Ahmad with Ishtaq Ahmad, Nazir Ahmad Inspector CDI PTS Manigam also spoke on the occasion.
