Early Times Report Samba, Dec 30: The lead bank office of State bank of India reviewed the working and flow of credit under annual credit plan (ACP) relating to deposits, advances and in priority sector upon quarter ending will September last. The district development commissioner (DDC), Saurabh Bhagat, chaired the proceedings and had thread bare review of SGSY/JKSES/ SC-ST-OBC/KVIB/KVIC/DIC/SJSRY etc with special emphasis on PMEGP (PM employment generation programme), MNREGA, small, medium enterprises, DRI, SHG’s, KCC, Swarojgar cards, women beneficiaries in general and financial literacy in particular. Lead district manager, RK Mehta apprised that a sum of Rs. 68.97 crores was disbursed upto Sept 09, out of which Rs 48.47 Cr were dispensed under priority sector covering agriculture/ small enterprises/ micro-credit/ retail/ housing/ educational and others. Against a bench mark of 40% under PS lending, the bankers in the district have achieved approx. 67.2% which was appreciated by the chairman. Those who attended the meeting included – Kishore Sharma (RBI), Aman Kalsotra (NABARD), ML Bhagat (CPO), Anil Gupta (ADDC), Natasha Kalsotra (Dy. Div Employment, DIC (GM), KVIB, KVIC etc.
