| Woman dies under mysterious circumstances | | |

Udhampur Dec30- A woman died under mysterious circumstances today in Salmeri village of Udhampur whereas her relatives alleged that she was murdered by a local villager. The deceased was identified as 32 years old Kalash Devi wife of Hem Raj
According reports few days back a dispute took place between deceased and one Romesh Kumar of her village.
Hot exchange of words took place between the two and later attacked the women with lathi injuring her critically. Reports further added that woman recovered later but breathed her last today .After getting the information police reached the spot and shifted the body to district hospital and after conducting postmortem handed over the body to family members for last rites. Police has registered case under section 174 CRPc and started investigation. However no one has been arrested so far in this regard. Some of relatives of the victim alleged that woman died due to head injury caused by the accused Romesh Kumar and demanded inquiry into it and registering a murder case against the accused Romesh Kumar.
