Jammu, Dec 31: Chairman Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Ltd and divisional commissioner Dr Pawan Kotwal reviewed the working position of the bank in a meeting of officer of the bank administrative office here today.
While reviewing the position he emphasized the need for effecting recoveries of NPAs besides achievement of targets of deposits and advances. He stressed upon branch managers to arrest fresh slippage of loansinto NPAs. On the request of branch managers the interest rebate scheme for settlement of chronic loan cases be extended up to March 2010. He assured to provide all possible assistance from administration to effect recoveries in delinquent loans. He apprised that bank shall utilize the service of risk credit rating agency which will be helpful for the bank in identification of borrowers and providing them facilities accordingly. He advised to get ISO certification for the bank.
