| Building Permission: JMC generate revenue of Rs 17 lakh | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 31:Continuing with its anti encroachment drive field staff of enforcement wing along with police force carried out a drive in the areas of Panjthirthi, Amphalla, Rehari, BC Road, Vinayak Road, and Jewel areas and removed the encroachments made by the shopkeepers/ vendors by keeping the goods by encroaching upon pavements, foothpaths etc. During the drive a truck load of goods like blankets, benches, signboards, weighing machines etc. were seized from these areas. The team also seized 3 no.s of Reharies found plying without licences and causing obstruction in the free movement of vehicular traffic in the city. Staff also removed the encroachment made by Arun Gupta, Prop of M/s Krishna Building Material at Panjthirthi by removing the furniture articles and other material beside demolished the wooden Khokha raised by him in the lane, thus clearing the lane from the encroachment. In a meeting held today the building operation controlling authority under the chairmanship of commissioner, JMC cleared 50 building permission cases in the meeting. The permission cases cleared today shall generate revenue of Rs. 17.00 lacs for the corporation.
