Awareness camp on HIV, AIDS

Rajouri Dec 31- To mark end of the year and welcome New Year, Society for Environmental Protection and Human Rights (SEPHR) organized one day awareness camp on HIV/AIDS. The camp focused on ensuring safety and timely treatment of various STD/RTI health problems among men and women.
The awareness camp was especially designed to ensure awareness among different pregnant women registered at Anganwari Centre and people living at Peer Kanju Mohalla to ensure HIV/AIDS free 2010.
Mohan Snehi President SEPHR in his lecture called upon the participants for practicing safe sexual behavior and timely treatment of STD/STI diseases.
Field workers gave on spot counseling to participants to clear their doubts on HIV/AIDS and also distributed condoms. Others who spoke on the occasion were Nirmala Kumar Anganwari Worker, Sushila Sharma, Teacher and Muniza Qureshi.
