Early Times report Jammu, Dec 31 Jammu and Kashmir government has identified three places as "transit accommodation" for housing Kashmiri migrants on their return to Kashmir valley. This was revealed at a meeting of Assurance Committee(AC) of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly chaired by MLA M Y Tarigami here today. These places were identified as Vessu in Kulgam district, Qazigund and Khanpur of districts Anantnag and Baramulla respectively in addition to the already set up transit accommodation in Khanpura in Budgam and Mattan in Anantang district, official sources said. It was also informed that 4,272 applications were invited from migrants, who wish to return to Kashmir valley. These included 1,185 from Srinagar district, 1,120 from Pulwama, 447 from Shopian, 412 from Kupwara, 344 from Anantang, 282 from Budgam, 238 from Baramulla, 146 of Kangan and 98 of Ganderbal.
