| Nago brothers file fresh bail plea | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 31- Principal Sessions Judge Jammu B L Bhat today adjourned the arguments on bail applications for January 2, 2010 and directed the Chief Prosecuting Officer to file objections in the fresh bail applications filed by Rakesh Kumar and Choudhary Nagar Singh and also the separate bail application of Choudhary Jagar Singh. In both the bail applications the applicants denied that they had bribed any police officer.
In the meanwhile, Special Investigation Team filed objections in the bail applications of Sultan Mehmood Mirza then SHO Police Station Gandhi Nagar and Satnam Singh Sub-Inspector, facing trial in a fudging of evidence in much publicized Amandeep murder case. SIT opposed the bail applications on various grounds and prayed for rejection of these bail applications. Upon this the Judge adjourned the arguments on these bail applications for January 2, 2010.
