| Culprits arrested, stolen property recovered | | |

Kistwar police arrested two accused involved in stealing of large quantity of material, used in raising of BSNL towers in Kishtwar area. As per reports a theft case was registered in Kishtwar police station by telephone authorities about the missing of material used in erecting of BSNL towers on July 12, 2007, under FIR no 148/2006 u/s 379 of RPC. The police started investigating the matter and rounded up number of persons for questioning. The police after some time under the supervision of Adll. SP Kishtwar was successful in approaching the real.
The culprits have been identified as Udhey Veer Singh S/o Sunder Lal and Raju S/o Puran Lal both resident of Rampur, Shaibad U.P stolen property worth Rs 25,000 was recovered form them. A case is registered against them.
