| Tarigami advocates for early regularization of casual workers | | |

CPI(M) State Secretary and MLA Kulgam M Y Tarigami has appealed the government to expedite the process of regularization of all those working as daily wagers, casual labourers, need based and contingency paid workers in different departments especially in Power Development Department
He said that the govt. should stand by its commitment made earlier where-under it was announced that a Cabinet Sub-Committee would look into the matter and frame modalities for regularization of casual labourers and contingency paid workers.
Tarigami also has condemned the use of force against the PDD daily rated workers on Thursday.
He referred to the deteriorating condition of various PSU’s in the state and said that this has erupted agitational approach among the employees of these units and asked for vibrant policy for streamlining the functioning of the departments and Public Sector Units |
