All India Backward Classes Union-AIBCU-Social under the chairmanship of Abdul Qadir, the spokesperson of the union, condemned the Report of 5th Working Group alleging it for worsening the conditions of the majority of the state population belonging to OBC’s (called OSC’s in Jammu and Kashmir).
The spokesperson of the said forum said that the report doesn’t speak anything about the enhancement of Reservation for State OBC’s and also doesn’t even condemn the meager reservation of 2% for twenty five communities in Jammu and Kashmir but only emphasizes on “Autonomy”.
He added the “Autonomy” under “Art. 370” already existed for Jammu and Kashmir State granting it special status as compared to the other states but regretfully it has never been used for benefits of the public but has only been used to help strengthening the family rule in the state.
Working Group speaks about the Backward Classes Commission, which never worked as Backward Classes Commission. If “Autonomy” is accepted than it should be taken as granted that state OBC’s condition will further go from bad to worse. “Autonomy” and “Self Rule” are the slogans from maintaining the Autocracy of the ruling Classes of Jammu and Kashmir and Centre Government has gone into a “Deep Slumber” which doesn’t rule for Jammu and Kashmir OBC’s, as the state is being Governed by Congress-NC coalition.
