Jammu, Jan 2: To celebrate the 344 Prakash Diwas of Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj which falls on January 5, a big Nagar Kirtan (religious procession) was taken out today from Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Ji near Gumat Bazar by the various Sikh organizations which include Bhai Kanahiya Jee Nishkam sera society, national Sheromani Akali Dal, S. Youth Akali Dal, AISSF, Sikh united secular forum and Sikh Istri Sudhar Sabha etc.
On parkas Diwas day Mahant Manjit Singh of Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch will participate at several places on the day. He has as per press release has expressed gratitude to the people of state and appealed to public fight against the anti-social and anti-national forces in the country and state in particular.
All the sikh organization have urged upon the J&K Government there should be no curtailment in water and electric supply on January 5 in the state, as on this day since early hours |
