Kulgam DCC president Greets people

Jammu, Jan 2: President District Congress Committee (DCC) Kulgam Inayatuallah Rather greeted the people of Homeshalibug constituency on the eve of New Year 2010 and prayed for peace, progress and prosperity for the welfare of the people of the state.

Rather said that the Congress led UPA government has is providing liberal funding to the state for various sectors to accelerate the developmental activities in the state with thrust on rural areas. He appreciated the policies and programme of the government and the Congress party. He thanked Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi for providing liberal funds and support for installing basic infrastructure and to carryout the necessary and major developmental works in the state. He appealed to the people to strengthen the hand of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and President PCC Saifuddin Soz. He also said that there is acute scarcity of Drinking Water, Electricity and Ration in the Constituency and demanded immediate arrangement of essential accommodates for the people of constituency.
