PHE officers visit Sainik Colony

Jammu, Jan 2: The Principal Commissioner Cum Secretary PHE, irrigation and flood control departments along with Chief Engineers of PHE irrigation and flood control and all Executive Engineers visited Ward no. 69 at Sainik Colony and to have on spot information to look into the problems being faced by the inhabitants of the ward.

The team of officers, was conducted by Th. Jai Singh the Corporator of the ward who briefed the visiting about the damages to both side of the dry nullah passing through Colony from sector C to sector A upto railway track, defunct of two tube wells constructed by ERA, due to non availability of water in surface and provisioning of a special scheme for storage of water drawn form outside to meet requirement during dry spells of the seasons, laying pipes in the left out houses for supply of water and other needs and repairing of one tubewell building already damage Col. K.S. Padwal, Col Inder Raj, Mohan Singh Jamwal, Narinder Singh, Col. Manotra, Sikander Singh met the team of officers during visit.
