| Body of missing youth found | | | Early Times Report

Police today recovered the body of a youth who disappeared after he had gone to meet his girlfriend in Samba district.
Ashok Kumar (27) of Hiranagar area in Kathua district had gone to meet his girlfriend in village Gangota in Samba district where he went missing on December 24, police said.
The body was recovered from a nallah in mountainous belt of Gangota village in Samba district after days of search operation, they said.The body bore some injury marks, they said, adding that post mortem had been conducted.
Villagers of several hamlets had been protesting the disappearance of the youth since December 30 and also blocked Jammu-Pathankote highway. They were demanding the arrest of the girl's parents, police said.
Police has registered a case and started investigation into it, they said.
