| Militant throw grenade on police van | | |

One constable of IRP 2nd Battalion was killed and two other Jawans including Asstt Sub Inspector were seriously injured when the van in which they were traveling was attacked by the militants.
According to reports the Jawans of 2nd battalion of IRP who were on their way to Gool area to distribute pay among the Jawans posted there came under the firing of militants at Padasan nallah. In the firing one head-constable Gulzar Ahmed died on spot and injuring ASI and a Jawan. Police replied but militant took over their heels from the spot.
ASI, Duni Chand and constable Nissar Ahmed have been admitted in the hospital. Meanwhile, Sr. Officers of the police have rushed to the spot, when last report came in.
