| Jam meets Farooq in Delhi | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 4- Ajaz Ahmed Jan MLA Poonch met Dr Farooq Abdullah, Minister for New and Renewable Energy at New Delhi and pleaded for solar lighting facilities in such areas of the border district which are devoid of electricity facility . He also pleaded for taking up mini hydro electric projects in the district.
The Minister is reported to have assured the MLA that all possible steps would be taken to concede the demands of the border district. Farooq is reported to have issued directions to the concerned for putting up the proposal with regard to solar lighting in the electric deficient areas of the border district.
