| Book exhibition gets underway at SMVDU | | | Early Times Report
Katra Jan 4- Prof R K Abrol Coordinator SMVD University today inaugurated book exhibition in the central library of the University.
In his inaugural address while welcoming the publishers said that it is that it is the 2nd such exhibition in the university. The Book Exhibition in series from January 4 to 15, 2010 will be participated by groups of publishers for every two days. This will help easy selection of books as one can go through the content of the book.
Subrata Deb, Librarian, SMVD University in his address emphasized that it is a great opportunity for faculty members and staff of the University for enriching the collection aiming at proper utilization of the UGC fund. Thirty five booksellers and publishers will be displaying a varied range of books during the exhibition.
Roop Avtar Kour Registrar, SMVD University welcomed the team for holding such event.
Among others present on this occasion included Prof R S Misra, Dean, Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof Suresh Chandra, Dean of Students and other faculty members and staff.
