Early Times Report Udhampur Jan 4 District Congress Committee, Udhampur held its meeting at party headquarters under the chairmanship of Bhupinder Singh Pathania, President DCC Udhampur and senior party leader Brij Mohan Sharma, Udhampur appealed the party high command to review gadker-Sikri Commission Report. Pathania piloted resolutions addressed to UPA Chairperson, Smt Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh which were later on unanimously passed by the workers after a detailed in-depth discussion. The resolution appealed for involving all schools of thought, theories, opinions and emancipation of political, non-political pressure groups, from Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, in the process of dialogue with a view to finding an ever-lasting and plausible solution to the stalemate in Kashmir. Taking a dig at the ‘unpredictable’ Panthers and ‘pseudo-nationalist’ BJP, he said Kashmir is too delicate an issue to play politics play with. He made fervent appeal to the party high command to keep in view the recommendations of Gajendragadkar Commission and Sikri Commission, endorsing the sentiment of discrimination with Jammu, while arriving at any solution to the J & K problem. Any solution in tune with the aspirations of a particular region or a particular party shall not be acceptable to the people of J&K. Brij Mohan Sharma, came down heavily upon the CAPD authorities for worst mismanagement as since the past two months people have received no sugar and other ration items.
