| AMANDEEP MURDER CASE | | SIT presents supplement charge-sheet; warrants against absconding accountant | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 4: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing evidence destruction in Amandeep murder case today presented supplement charge-sheet in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate which was further committed to the Court of Principal Sessions Judge Jammu for its disposal The charge-sheet was presented before the Court by Mubassir Latifi SP in-charge SIT and Chief Prosecuting Officer Pawan Khajuria against the accused Choudhary Nagar Singh, Choudhary Jagar Singh and Choudhary Rakesh Singh sons of Kola Ram and one accused namely Ashok Kumar Accountant of Choudhary Nagar Singh who is stated to be absconding and statement of searching officer has been recorded and non-bailable warrants issued against him. Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu Mr. YP Bourney after hearing the both the sides and gone through the charge-sheet, the investigating agency has collected further evidence which is vital and involvement of one more accused namely Ashok Kumar Chalotra s/o Chainu Ram r/o 513 Janipur Jammu have also been established, however, no new offence has been added. Since instant charge-sheet is in continuation of the earlier charge-sheet which has already been committed taking cognizance of offences. The challan was committed to the Court of Principal Sessions Judge Jammu for its disposal. In the challan it has been submitted that accused Choudhary Nagar Singh alias Nago allegedly made a sensational disclosure that he contacted then SSP S Manohar Singh on telephone to save his son Jatinder Singh alias Raja from the clutches of the law and settled Rs 50 lacs to SSP and 25 lacs to then SHO Sultan Mehmood Mirza and 50,000 to SI Satnam Singh whereas Rs 5 lacs was paid to Sarwar Hussain Bukhari and Raj Singh of FSL. It was further submitted that in this criminal conspiracy accused Rakesh Kumar alias Rakesh Singh, Jagar Singh and accused Ashok Kumar Chalotra Accountant of Nagar Singh were involved to change the weapon of offence which was used in the murder of Amandeep Singh. In the 327 pages challan it has been submitted that the weapon of offence was changed with the other weapon (Katta), the original weapon of offence was thrown by Choudhary Nagar Singh on Narwal Bye-Pass National Highway which was recovered on the instance of Choudhary Nagar Singh and sent to FSL for report. Along with weapon recovered the finger prints of Nagar Singh, Rakesh Kumar were also sent to FSL. The report was positive. Regarding the use of cell-phone No 9697579439 which was obtained on the fictitious name of one Kamal Kishore, which was during investigation found that this cell-phone was not on the name of Kamal Kishore it was on the fictitious name, regarding this FIR 98/2009 was u/s 420/467/468/471 RPC has been registered in the P/S City. The challan was presented today u/s 201/120-B/409 RPC r/w section 3/25 Arms Act. Meanwhile Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Mr. BL Bhat today reserved the order on bail applications filed by Choudhary brothers, Manohar Singh then SSP Jammu, Sultan Mehmood Mirza, Satnam Singh & ors. According to the Advocate OP Sharma the interim bail of Former SHO Gandhi Nagar Sultan Mehmood Mirza has been extended till January 7, 2010.
