| Bhim, Harshdev call on President Patil | | | Early Times report

Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, National Panthers Party and Member, NIC and Harsh Dev Singh, leader of Legislature Party called on Pratibha Devi Singh Patil, the President of India and greeted her on the New Year.
Prof. Bhim Singh also presented his book, ‘Peace Mission, Around the World on Motorcycle’ to the President on his travels around the world from 1967 to 1972.
The Panthers leaders briefed the President about the present political situation obtaining in the state in the wake of Working Group report on Centre-State relations.
They also extended invitation to the President on the occasion of Silver Jubilee Foundation of State Legal Aid Committee which enjoys patronage of Former Chief Justice, P.N. Bhagwati.
Harsh Dev Singh described the meeting with the President of India as historic and memorable.
