Natrang Director, Balwant Thakur has been invited to participate the ‘Theatre Round Table’- an International convention of theatre directors, being held in Delhi from Jan 7-8. A press statement from the Natrang Theatre stated that apart from the top theatre directors of the country the theatre directors from U.K., France, Italy, Germany, China, Israel, Singapore, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh are participating this important meet of theatre. The National School of Drama, New Delhi is the host of this programme and the event also marks the opening of 12th Bharat Rang Mahotsav.
A fellow of The Ford Foundation, USA, Balwant Thakur, is going to be the key speaker of this International roundtable who will deliberate on the contemporary theatre scene of India. Balwant Thakur has successfully presented his presentations in London, Oxford, Brighton, Stratford, Rome, Venice, Berlin, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Bangkok, Singapore, Malaysia, Moscow, Istanbul, Yoroslov, Belgrade, Dubai, Sharjah, Abudhabi, and Dhaka.
