| Educational tour to mark Army Day flagged off | | |

In order to foster a sense of national integration amongst the children residing in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir, The army organized an educational/motivational tour under Operation Sadbhavana to mark Army Day.
Defence spokesperson Northern Command stated Commander Rashtriya Rifles while flagging off the tour expressed hope that the tour will have a positive impact on these young impressionable minds and will motivate them to excel in life. Spokepsronm added that a batch of 25 students belonging to remote and far flung villages from the districts of Kishtwar along with two teachers are being taken to Bangalore and Mysore on an educational cum motivation tour from Jan 5-Jan 19. During the tour the children would be to introduced to the rich tradition, heritage and culture of our great nation.
Local MLA, DC, SP, all civil dignitaries, prominent citizen and parents of children were present during flagging off ceremony here today.
