| Refugees Sangharsh Morcha ridicules Saghirs report | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 5 Pak Occupied Jammu and Kashmir Refugees Sangharsh Morcha today ridiculed the Justice Saghir’s report on fifth working groups’ recommendations on Centre-State relations. Addressing media persons here today, Prof Narinder Singh, convenor of the Morcha said that they had higher expectations from both centre and state governments, but unfortunately they have ignored the cause of Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir refugees even in the Working Group’s recommendations on Centre-State relation. He said that the refugee community was the worst and the first victim of Indo-Pak conflicts and inspite of taking the refugee issue on the priority, Working Group has totally neglected the refugees who were suffering for the last 62 years. Prof Singh termed the recommendations of report very dangerous and will dilute the Indian sovereignty over J&K. “WG was constituted for better Centre-State relations but recommendations will disassociate State from Centre”, he maintained. He announced that Morcha will burn the the copies of Saghir report on January 9 at Tehsil and block levels in protest against its recommendations. He appealed all the refugee MLAs, MLCs and even Minister in the State Cabinet to come forward cutting across the party lines to provide justice to the Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir refugees. Singh demanded that fresh registration of Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir refugee families should be carried out and special economic package, employment package and Special Refugee Development Board should be constituted to provide the justice to the Refugee families besides provision of Rs 25 lacs each for newly registered refugee family.
