A woman made an abortive bid to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence at Gho Manhasan on city outskirts.
The woman identified as Raj Devi wife of Raj Singh of Tikri Gho Manhasan was admitted in Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment after her condition deteriorated due to consumption of some poisonous substance, said police sources
The condition of the victim was stated to be stable after doctors washed her stomach., sources added
Police have registered a case in this regard and initiated inquest proceedings into the matter.
